Whether your players are accompanying a humble caravan or reinforcing a militia camp, allow them to control the destiny of their community! Develop and upgrade buildings, fortifications, and more, and make those tough decisions that only the most ardent of town leaders can handle!
Gobber’s Guide to Hearth & Home is not just a module, but themed around a fantasy ‘Home Life’ magazine, where the joy of mythical world-building meets the comforting familiarity of your beloved dentist's lounge reading material!
You are what you wear!
Excite your players with 3 original player races. Feast upon the foundations as the bug-eyed Temetian; break the chains of constructoid servitude as a Keystone Golem; or (literally) become one with buildings as the fey-spirited Home Gnome…
Open the doors to adventure, with new backgrounds and 3 original sub-classes. Create fortifications in the heat of combat as a Battlefield Engineer; use your words to keep your foes off guard as a Gift of the Gab Rogue; or simply fill the hearts and bellies of your friends as a Feast Domain Cleric.
New home, new you!
From cozy homesteads to cult sanctums, guide your players through a variety of communal developments unique to the world of your campaign that manifest in different game-changing effects. A city-based mansion might give your players access to the top echelons of society, whereas a well-stocked fortress may grant advantages when dealing with approaches that are less, er, ‘diplomatically inclined’.
Over time, the base will grow with your players who can upgrade their homes with special add-ons that can grant tantalizing perks! Build a forge and get bonuses on their non-magical gear; the Cleric may benefit from a shrine to their god… The sky's the limit with endless combinations for your party to customize their base with!
How to lose friends and experience points!
"People find confidence attractive. So if you want to impress someone, stare deeply into their eyes without blinking. Or be naked."
